Gymnastics

The girls love gymnastics and are getting so much better each week.
Jocelyn is doing a back walkover, Brinly is pretty good at her head stand, and Amelia can almost do a back roll all by herself at 2! So stinkin' cute!
Thanks coach Beth:)

Family Pictures

Recently took some family photos. Thank you Sara Coral, you did a great job!

My girls are so fun, and I am SO EXTREMELY grateful to have them!
Jocie started kindergarten this year and that has been really cool. She loves making new friends, learning new things, and coming home to share them with us. It's awesome! She was sitting here on my lap by the computer and read the "bookmarks" from my title bar on the computer screen.

Brinly is in a really cool pre-school now. We were going to try to just have her stay home and learn from mommy, but she was crying to go to school just like her big sister. Most of the pre-schools were filled up by then. On afternoon, picking up Jocelyn from pre-school, I over heard a woman talking on her phone to someone about how her child will be fine at school and knowing so much will just give her confidence. Anyways, I just had to ask if she was a pre-school teacher and she was. The concerned mother was worried that her child had learned too much in pre-school and would be bored in Kindergarten. Bottom line is Brinly had been placed in an awesome learning environment and it is the street behind ours! So COOL!

Amelia is a really good little communicator. She loves to repeat everything we say and do it with a question mark. She is a perfect little mix of her older sisters. There is no stopping this feisty little girl from getting what she wants either.

Todd has been working really hard, harder than I've ever seen him work before. He is relentless. I am  so grateful to have him be at the head of our family! I couldn't have asked for a better companion in this life. I love the way we work, play, and experience our lives together!

I am happiest when I am with him!

Jocelyn is on a roll

...Jocelyn again, and worth writing down.
So today we went to drop off Boder, our puppy, to the groomers at PetSmart. There are lots of other animals there and a whole wall full of fish tanks. So Jocelyn and Brinly were looking at all the fish. Jocie comes over to me and tells me I have to look at this cute little fishy. Her actually words were, "Mom, you have to come see little floaty pants." Floaty Pants didn't register anything to me right then because I was talking to someone. So I went over and she was of course pointing to a sad little dead fish. I hated to be the bearer of bad news but I had to tell her the fish was a dead fish and "Floaty Pants" was floating because that's what fish do when they're dead. But I wish I could have captured her face of horror and confusion when she realized what I was saying. So sad, but cute and funny at the same time.

Good Bye Floaty Pants!

Jocelyn's Funny moments

I just have to write this down because it's so funny to me.
Jocelyn's new thing is trying to jump out and scare you. So I naturally I decided it would be fun to scare her back. She came around the corner and I yelled and scared her so bad she put her hands down to hold herself back from peeing. Then she says, "mom, you scared my underwear."
LOL

Just minutes later she is ringing a hand bell Amelia got for Christmas and singing, "Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas, please give me some money."

SO funny to me.

This is Jocelyn last May in pose after her dance recital.

A Nice Christmas Moment

This is an image found in Book Of Mormon Studies. A book my grandma Woolley sent to our family last year for a Christmas gift. I try hard to read a story out of it once a day to the girls, usually during lunch. Today we read the story about Abinadi and King Noah. It was a violent image for a young child to see Abinadi burning but an important story to learn. I thought after the story we were done so I left the table. My precious little Jocelyn stuck around to peek through the book some more. Later I hear her calling me and showing me this picture and other pictures of Jesus. She wanted to hear the stories about Jesus.
Jocelyn pointed to this picture shown above and she said, "Mommy those bad guys are going to live with Satan." I told her I didn't know if they would, only God and Jesus knew that. Then I remembered what Jesus said when he was on the cross. "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do." Those words seemed to open my heart and I felt so touched by the Spirit. It was a beautiful moment in my life to be able to tell her what Jesus said and to remember and feel once again how much He really loves us. I know He lives and He loves all of us more than imaginable. What an amazing feeling that is and also a gift and blessing I have to share with my dearest children.
Thank you Jocelyn for your desire to learn about our Savior, Jesus Christ. I love you!

Merry Christmas to all who might be reading.

With LOVE,
Camille
